Apple Email Notifications

Below are some of the most common emails you will receive from Apple throughout the course of your app's lifespan. These emails will be sent to the email address associated as Apple developer account owner.

If you ever receive an email and you are unsure what it means, start here! If your email is not listed and you have questions, please forward the email to our Support Team and/or your Account Manager. Our team will review and point you in the right direction if there is any action you need to take!

Your Apple Developer Program membership expires in [x] days	Yes	Your Apple developer account license will expire annually. If you intend to keep your Apple applications live, it is extremely important to not allow your membership to expire.	Follow the instructions given by Apple in order to ensure your developer account does not expire. It is recommended to set your developer account membership to auto-renew.
The status of your app, [Your App Name], is now "Pending Contract	Yes	Your Apple Developer Program Membership may have expired or there is an outstanding / updated contract in your developer account that may result in your app being removed from the App Store if not updated.	Follow the instructions given by Apple to ensure your developer account is up-to-date.
New Message from App Store Review Regarding [Your App Name]	Yes	This email indicates a rejection from Apple for either your iOS and/or tvOS app. While our team is checking within your developer account each day for any alerts, you will always receive this email as developer account owner.	If you are still in the Onboarding Phase, please ensure your Technical Program Manager and Account Manager are made aware of the rejection by forwarding this email to them.
[Your App Name] + [numbers] for [iOS or tvOS] is now available to test.	No	This means there is a new app version build available in TestFlight for you to access.	If you want to download the latest beta version of your Apple application, go for it! Otherwise, you can ignore this email.
Action Needed: iOS Distribution Certificate Expires in 30 Day	No	Whenever new Distribution Certificates are needed, our team will automatically request a new one from Apple and revoke the old ones. This will not require any action from your end.	You can ignore this email.
Your Certificate Has Been Revoked	No	This email may contain language along the lines of “VHX Apps has revoked your certificate, so it is no longer valid.” This is intended and is the result of our team removing old certificates. Typically, you may receive this email after associating your Apple API key into your Vimeo OTT CMS.	You can ignore this email.
The status of your app, [Your App Name], is now "Waiting for Review"	No	You will receive this email for every Apple iOS and/or tvOS app version that Vimeo submits for review. This specific email means Apple has not yet started their review of your app.	You can ignore this email.
The status of your app, [Your App Name], is now "In Review"	No	You will receive this email for every Apple iOS and/or tvOS app version that Vimeo submits for review. This specific email means Apple is currently reviewing your app.	You can ignore this email.
The status of your app, [Your App Name], is now "Ready for Sale"	No	You will receive this email for every Apple iOS and/or tvOS app version that Vimeo submits for review. This specific email means Apple has approved and successfully published your app.	You can ignore this email BUT congratulations! Your application has been approved and set live!
