Application Platform Developer Accounts

Our Branded Applications team will need access to various application platform developer accounts which will be registered, initially configured, and owned by you and your team.

These developer accounts will be where your applications are launched and maintained through the duration of your Vimeo OTT agreement. Your applications will be published under your developer account name and, if your service includes in-application subscriptions or transactional product purchasing, allows for payouts to be sent directly to the bank information on file.

The below reference guides detail how to:

Register for a platform developer account
Ensure it is configured properly for initial on-boarding + post-launch maintenance
Invite Vimeo to your account or share log-in credentials where required

For additional information about all application platforms supported by Vimeo OTT (i.e. device/OS limitations, associated in-application subscription costs, etc.), please reference our "About Application Platforms" section. If there are additional questions that remain unanswered, feel free to reach out to your Vimeo OTT Account Manager and Technical Program Manager.

Only create platform developer accounts for the applications you have purchased within your current Vimeo OTT agreement

Please let your Technical Program Manager know if you encounter any issues or problems along the way in registering for and configuring your application platform developer accounts. Unfortunately, Vimeo will not be able to make certain configurations required within developer accounts for you but, once all steps are complete, our team will be able to publish your applications on your behalf within your developer accounts.
